Sunday morning, May 9, a guided hike will go from the Muir Beach parking lot up the Coastal Trail to the are called Green Gulch. The hike features bright spring wildflowers and beautiful vistas, both of the ocean and Mt. Tamalpais.
The hike covers about 4 miles and is of moderate difficulty, climbing over 900` from the parking lot to the high point. That's a good trek, so plan on this one only if you're in shape for sometimes-steep hill climbing.
As always, our advice is to dress in layers so the changing fog patterns don't freeze or fry you. Be sure to bring water and small snacks to keep hydrated and energized.
