If you were going to pick a place to get careless about speeding, Panoramic Highway en route to Muir Woods would be a lousy selection. With narrow shoulders, steep hillsides and blind curves, it's a safe road when you're cautious... and not suited to fast driving.
And who would ever run full-speed past the Mona Lisa? Too beautiful a view to make you want it to disappear into the rear view mirror in the flash of an eye.
With all of that in mind, Marin County law enforcement is planning special radar enforcement on Panoramic Highway this week to cite speeders. Just letting you know.
